Matt Bass

In 2005, after a 12-year career in sports marketing, Matt brought the skills he developed marketing some of the biggest brands in sports to the real estate industry.  Prior to joining The Hester Group, he achieved significant real estate success with well-known and respected brokerages in Atlanta, including Outstanding New Sales Associate his first year in the industry, and Life Member status in the Atlanta Board of Realtors Million Dollar Club after just four years. Matt especially enjoys the personal nature of the real estate business – the opportunities to meet and work with the different people and help them achieve their goals when it comes to their housing and family needs.  After over 30-years in Atlanta and 17-years in real estate, he knows the city well and understands what each area has to offer.  His business savvy and positive personality helps his clients relax and enjoy what can sometimes be a stressful process.  He’s calm, cool and collected, even when things seem to be going sideways, and always puts his clients’ interests first.  With nearly 100 closings in the past 3-years, Matt is a highly sought-after REALTOR®.Matt holds a B.A. in Psychology from Emory University in Atlanta, GA.  Originally from Chicago, he’s been in Atlanta since 1989 and has lived in the East Cobb with his wife and two sons since 1998.  Matt has a passion for health and wellness, and can often be found running, biking, hiking or rowing around the streets and parks of Cobb County.  Or at the grocery store.  He’s always at the grocery store.
